Reply with quote | #2 | Ok, the above post is all the gibberish from Neteller.
I have been using Neteller since 2004. I have never had a major issue, but if you were a U.S. resident, they seized your cash for several months due to the IRS and other U.S. government agencies.
One thing I have noticed is that they are sticklers for your IP address. I travel a great deal around the world and they are always locking my account since I am not signing in from the U.K. A pain in the ass for a total of 5 minutes while I contact them to get them to unlock the account!
I just received my Net+ debit card today. I am truly amazed at the rates they are charging!!!!
My account is in £'s.
They are charging 3 £'s to withdraw money form a ATM plus 2.95% foreign exchange if I get currency other than £'s!
POS sales are free... If my purchase is in £'s, I have to pay 2.95%...
Dormancy fee's are 1.5 £'s per month if I don't use the card...
It feels they are taking a fair share of my money per transaction!

Reply with quote | #3 | If I remember well, at some point during registration or soon after they had an option where you could say you were planning to use your account from different countries so they didn't lock it every time you make a transaction.
Hmm, or it was when they upgrade your account to VIP? I'm not sure but I saw that somewhere.

I got an email about a year ago saying they were removing that 'roaming' option and putting everyone back on the same restrictions, ie log in from a different country and your account will be locked. I am not aware of any way around that, atm.

Reply with quote | #5 | VPN back to your home country while travelling would work. That said I am pretty sure I have logged into Neteller from the US, South Africa and Germany in the past without a problem. They did lock my accont once but a quick call sorted it out. |

Reply with quote | #6 | If the companies are operating within the law, they could survive indefinitely. In fact, if others are being removed from the market, (deleted) then the on-line gambling (and funding) just got smaller and those remaining will enjoy greater market share and greater demand for their services. If they're operating outside the law, (deleted) pull out before your account is frozen by a bankruptcy court. It's only a matter of time. |

Reply with quote | #7 | Helma, what are you trying to say here? Your post doesn't make a bit of sense.
