Reply with quote | #1 | Short version of the story, with email history to follow:
I deposited $500 and took a 100% offer from Wagerunit, which uses a Free Money system where the bonus is slowly converted into real money as you play. I converted all of the Free Money and initiated a withdrawal for $850.
A day or two later, though the withdrawal was showing as "processed", the $850 was back in my account. I contacted Live Chat, who told me that the withdrawal had been denied because I didn't meet the WR. Upon checking my math, I agreed that I didn't meet the WR and would wager the rest.
Luck was with me, and I finished the WR with $1350. I put this withdrawal in ... a few days later, I check on it and Live Chat tells me the $850 has been sent. I disagree, based on what they told me, and they forward it to upper management. Hence the emails, with my most recent one on top:
Quote: Dear Sir: To be frank, how do you expect me to know that the funds in my account "do not belong" to me when your own Live Chat representative tells me that the funds are there because the withdrawal has been denied? Given the fact that I initiated the Live Chat myself that told me this, I don't see how you can say that I didn't contact you to solve the problem. I obviously did contact you, and based my actions on what I was told. Was I supposed to ask for someone in management to explain to me what your Live Chat representative already had? Being a senior moderator on an online gambling forum that numbers over 17,000 members, and since you've said this is your final decision, I'm unfortunately forced to relay this incident to these members. Being that the forum advocates that players always follow the terms and conditions of a casino or sportsbook, I'm sure the members will want to know of a casino/sportsbook that does not follow the same standards of good business. Given this matter, and an ongoing problem with redeeming Club Cash points in your business, I'm forced to say that you have lost a customer in this instance -- and probably future customers -- unless you reconsider. Dear J
I can see where you are coming from with this matter.
However the funds were not supposed to be in your account because the check was sent already with or without the roll over requirement.
In any case when you see funds that are not belong to you, you need to contact us so that the problem can be resolved.
This is the final decision from Credit department.

Dear Sir:
That is incorrect information that you have listed below.
I initiated the withdrawal for $850 on October 21st as indicated. Though the withdrawal was shown as processed in the cashier, $850 was put back into my account. When I questioned why this had occurred during a Live Chat, I was told that I had not completed the proper rollover associated with the bonus I received. To be exact, I had completed $12,500 worth of wagering, but was told I needed to complete $20,000 worth of wagering which would be the correct 20x rollover of the deposit and bonus as advertised.
Since I wanted to comply with your terms and conditions as a good customer, I completed that additional $7500 worth of wagering to complete the rollover. This was not a case of me "not report[ing] the false credit and kept playing in Casino" as you've claimed. This is following what your Live Chat representative informed me I needed to do. It is through no fault of my own that I proceeded to win more money in the Casino until I met the 20x rollover that you required of me with funds now amounting to $1350.
I respectfully ask that you issue yet another check in the amount of $500 in order for my complete withdrawal of $1350 to be honored. I have faithfully followed all of your terms and conditions, risking the $850 returned in me in order to do so. I believe you will agree I have only acted in good faith and I would expect a business of your magnitude to do the same.
I await your response and both checks to arrive at my residence.
J

Dear J
Live Chat with Wagerunit livechat regarding withdrawal ;
You have requested for withdrawal of $850 USD on Oct 21st .
The Check of $850 USD was processed on Oct 26th, however there was still funds in your account due to support’s mistake.
You will receive check of $850 USD within 3-4 weeks by our regular mail.
You have requested another withdrawal of $1350 USD on Oct 25th. This withdrawal will be cancelled since you have already requested your funds and did not report the false credit and kept playing in Casino.
Please contact us by email if you have any questions, as our live chat support will not be able to answer any of questions regarding this issue.
Thank you for playing at WagerUnit.com.
Regards,
Aaron Joshon Credits Wagerunit
I'm interested to see if anyone else agrees with me ...

Reply with quote | #3 | If you had lost the $850 doing the additional wagering. They would have stuck with the original story and you would have got nothing.
What really gives the game away is the cheque is dated on the 26th, that's 5 days after the original withdrawal, and I'm guessing also after you completed the 2nd lot of wagering. Time for them to look at the situation and screw you If the cheque had been sent before you completed the 2nd lot of wagering, they would have a case.
The other point. Why would anyone think that the $850 in your account was "false credit" It was simply your winnings returned, just like c/s told you.
Cheep trick to save $500, and worthy of blacklisting.

I initiated the $1350 withdrawal on October 25, so you're dead on spot, Fender.

Reply with quote | #7 | 100% agree with Rob here. If you'd lost it I doubt they would have have reversed the situation. Looks to me like a cheap trick to save a few hundred. Blacklist them. |

Reply with quote | #10 | That's a load of bull, Pete.
I deposited to them through PayPal, yes, though I'm not sure how "legal" that is. But I never got any payment back from them through PayPal and I just checked my account. It shows $0.00 with even just a 7-day history showing (which runs from Oct. 26 to today).
My PayPal email address is different than the email address I use for them, but they accepted the money from that PayPal address without a hitch.
I'll send you the email address associated with PayPal in a PM.
Keep that chat log, please.
